Monthly Timetable

The society meets on the second, third (note: summer and winter starting times differ) and forth Tuesday's of each month. Visitors are always welcome.

  • Second Tuesday is a regular competition night based on a set theme and an open category where guest judges are invited to provide critique.
  • Third Tuesday of the month we hold a Digital Group 8.00pm for those interested in learning more about photography.
  • Forth Tuesday is typically an educational workshop or a presentation by an invited guest speaker.

We have much more than just competitions; there are presentations of photographs, interesting speakers, field trips, hands on camera technique nights, practical nights (e.g. lighting, portrait or macro techniques). Competitions provide members with the opportunity to view other member's work as well as receive valuable feedback on their own work from judges within the photographic industry.    Back to next programme date
