Congratulations:

To Grant Stantiall who won the Auckland Festival of Photography GOAL! photograph competition with his image entitled THE TACKLE.  He won an Olympus compact digital camera, a football and a book “Dreams and Goals”.  The image is the June 2010 image of the month.

To Janet Greenwood to gaining 2nd place in Canon on Line with her picture Waiting to Board, and Fergus Campbell for gaining 7th place in Canon on Line with his picture ‘The Dark Side’

To John Greenwood whose picture Norwegian Sea Eagle was in the final 10 in Canon On Line, Round 5

Congratulations:

To Grant Stantiall who has had a photograph of the MELVILLE UNITED team, who won the 2009 Northern Premier League Championship, on the back page of the Waikato Times, and also a A4-sized photograph of UK band 'The Specials' on the main entertainment page of The New Zealand Herald.

Congratulations:

To John Greenwood who received one acceptance in the Laurie Thomas Landscape Salon, three acceptances out of four entries for the NZ Photojournalism Competition and has also discovered that he has received an Honours for an image in the 2008 PJ Salon but never received the report or catalogue until now. This was for an image of his gundog retrieving called “Earning her keep”.

Please note that we have a collection of books on photography in our back room.  These are available for use by club members.  Please ask any Committee member about this.
